Taylor Swift: Willow
Published by Ekaterina
I was born in Moscow but since then lived in 3 other countries, in two of them twice (Belgium and The Netherlands) and speak 4 languages fluently. French, Russian, English and Dutch. I did my studies in Brussels, and then in Amsterdam where I also worked as a financial analyst of banks and portfolio manager. It was in Amsterdam that I experienced magic in its absolutely amazing manifestations. I moved later to Brussels again, where I worked as a recruiter, before moving to the UK where I obtained a PhD bursary. I teach media studies, and I write, and currently I live in Leeuwarden, in the Netherlands. I love books, nature, interesting cafes, cats, nice wine, theater and dancing, and looking at manifestations of weirdness around me, which sometimes amazes me, but more often, makes me sad. Different cultures and ways of life appeal to me. I am also a seeker, a seeker of the spiritual truth where quite often I struggle with my faith, but always come back to it, feeling the presence of God with all my heart. My blog is dedicated to exploring magic, madness, Russia and the unknown, with the ultimate goal to empower beautiful souls. View all posts by Ekaterina

What a rich fantasy video! It is so engrossing it almost draws me away from the lyrics. I would normally expect an Evanescence song to go with images like these! She finally found him! I thought she might not.

Taylor Swift is the most skilled musical poet. Her music and herself are simply amazing

I am actually a bit surprised that you like her so much! But she is not of my generation and I haven’t followed her music.
I would rather watch a performer like Gal Costa or Jocelyne Beroard. They are BIG performers who reach out and embrace their audiences, almost literally. I like that kind of expression of overt love in a performer. And it is particularly evident in those two mentioned above. Basia was pretty good at that, too. I have not named an American yet…Edith Piaf, French… Mama Cass? Janis Joplin? Billie Holiday? Those are close. All killed by their ability to love their audience? Who knows?

It doesn’t matter from which generation you are to admire Taylor Swift.
She is divine
